Ability to follow a schedule and manage own time within Hotschedules
Writing prep lists and communicating with other teammates regarding kitchen/station needs
Prep items relevant to menu and station
Ensuring pars for station are maintained and advise management of low inventory items
Cook menu items to set standard with consistent results
Taking safe and proper care, preparation, storage, and rotation of product - including FIFO, labeling and dating to minimize waste
Work with teammates with open and honest communication
Promotes proper sanitation and safety for guests and employees at all times including proper self care, hand washing and station cleaning and maintenance
Assist teammates as needed
We Expect The Following From Our Employees Once Trained:
Full menu recipe and production
Organize and plan daily and weekly projects
Ability to prep all items, sauces and toppings to Rail Trail standards
Ability to read and execute all tickets - modifiers and allergies without issue.
Utilize open and close checklists, par lists and recipes to work effectively.
Fully and safely maintain station in both cleanliness and maintenance, communicating needs to leaders
Keeps all stations clean and stocked
Reports any broken or damaged equipment to leadership
Accept feedback and grow as a person, teammate and cook
Cross trains and learns other stations and task in our team

Help teach tasks, systems, and culture to all new teammates with a "we do it this way." attitude.
Become Servsafe Certified during first year
Requirements
Be capable of working long hours on one's feet
Performs shift duties in an accurate and timely manner
Have the ability to handle frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and wiping
Be able to work in a sometimes hot environment
Flexible with schedule including peak shift coverage
Be able to lift 50 pounds
